OUR Town Hall - YOUR say

KIRKLEES LABOUR CABINET DECIDED TO:
• Close the Town Hall and see whether a community group could come up with a viable plan to run it on a full repairing lease.
• The Council says running costs are £200,000 a year. £7million is estimated, by the Council, to bring the building up to standard following YEARS of Council neglect.

1. Do you agree with the Labour Cabinet decision to close our Town Hall?
2. Do you want the Town Hall repaired using Council funding and re-opened to serve our community, as in the other 3 town halls?
3. Are you in favour of small businesses using the offices to help fund running costs?
4.Are you in favour of public services such as the Police and health services using the building for pop-in sessions?
5. Are you in favour of a formal town hall users group helping to run the Town Hall?
